Create and edit Duration and Rates

The Create/Edit Duration modal lets you specify details about a particular Duration and it's Rates.

The top section lets you specify the length of the duration, by setting the minimum and maximum, as well as the variance. The duration will be calculated based on the Duration Length Rule field, with the default option being Sum of all TC Rates.

Clicking the Option checkbox will show an additional dropdown option in the modal, letting you set the Duration as Declared, Forfeited or Not Declared.

Below this section, you can specify a particular index the duration should follow. If you tick off the Index-based Automation checkbox, each of the rates in the duration will be automatically calculated.

When using Index-based Automation, ensure that the rates start and end at 00:00 GMT. The system does currently not take into account the time of day with this option enabled. If needed, create a separate Duration before or after the index-based Duration, to ensure a correctly calculated rate.

At the bottom, you will find a table with an overview of the TcRates. Here you can add, edit or remove rates from the duration. When Index-based Automation is turned on, the Rate and Sequence No. fields are disabled in the create/edit modals.
