# Voyage Statuses

Descriptions of statuses and transitions between different statuses

Upon creation of a voyage from scratch the voyage will get status "Estimate"

In order to change the status of the voyage click the status field for the voyage. When the status field is clicked a drop down will appear.

Go into the sub-pages for each status to see which which transitions between statuses are allowed and what updates are made in the background for each transition made.
