From version 8.8, administrators can create and manage insurance policies and deductibles in the Master Data module. Each insurance policy includes a P&I Club, a start and end date, a policy reference, and a list of connected deductibles.
To create a new insurance policy, click the blue plus sign located in the top-right corner of the page (refer to Figure 1). This opens a modal where you can enter the necessary details. The P&I Club is a required field, and at least one deductible must be added before creating the policy. Within this modal, you can also create new deductibles by clicking the "Create" button in the header of the deductibles list (see Figure 2).
Once the policy is created, the Insurance Policy Drawer will open automatically, allowing you to make additional changes or updates to the policy information.
A deductible includes a type, a deductible amount, and an optional setting that indicates whether it applies per voyage. To add a deductible to an existing policy, first open the Insurance Policy Drawer by clicking on the corresponding row in the list. Then, in the deductibles section, click the blue plus sign at the top-right of the deductibles list to open the creation modal. Here, you can fill in the relevant information and confirm the entry.
To edit an insurance policy, simply click on the policy row to open its drawer. Within this drawer, you can adjust any of the policy's details as needed.
Editing a deductible works similarly. In the deductibles list, click on the deductible you want to modify. This opens an edit modal where you can make the necessary changes. Additionally, you can enable or disable the deductible. Disabled deductibles are clearly marked with a check icon in the list to indicate their status (see Figure 6).
Inside the Insurance Policy Drawer, you can also filter deductibles using the disabled quick filter found in the header of the deductibles section (refer to figure 6).
To enable or disable the policy, use the secondary menu by clicking the vertical ellipsis in the top-right corner of the drawer. To view the disabled insurance policies in the list refer to the
