Relet Internally

The Relet Internally option allows you to reassign a charter to another company within the same group. The internal operating company records the income, while the original owning company balances to net zero. To accomplish this, two additional cargoes will be created, resulting in the following structure: the original Spot cargo, an Internal cargo, and an Internal Relet cargo. This ensures seamless invoicing between the owning and operating companies, and the external charterer.

In order to use this feature, both Companies will need to have an Internal Business Partner set.

Structure of an Internal Relet. Camflex Asia accepts a cargo from external charterer Ares, and has internally reletted the cargo to Camflex EU.

Creating an Internal Relet

1. Set the Voyage company to the operating company.

2. Set the Cargo company to the owning company.

3. Click the More button in the top right of the cargo drawer, and choose the Relet Internally option.

4. Find the corresponding Internal Business Partner of the operating company and click Confirm.

5. The system will create two additional cargoes with Company and Counterpart automatically assigned.

Viewing P&L by Company

When a voyage contains an Internal Relet cargo, a Company selector appears in the Voyage P&L. This allows a Business Controller to verify the P&L result for each entity involved in the relet independently.

Internal Relet Cargo Company	P&L calculated from all values related to the Original Cargo and Internal Relet Cargo. Bunker costs and Emission costs are excluded.

Behaviour When Internal Relet Cargo Company Is Selected

• All editable fields in the P&L are disabled.

• Voyage analysis buttons are disabled.

• The P&L reflects the owning company's view of the transaction, based on the Original Cargo and Internal Relet Cargo values.

Deleting

Deleting cargoes in an internal relet structure behaves differently depending on which cargo is being deleted.

• When deleting the original Spot cargo, all three cargoes are deleted permanently.

• If deleting either of the Internal cargoes, only the Internal cargoes are deleted.
