# Disable Users

1. [Find](https://docs.dataloy.com/release-5.22/voyage-management-system/step-by-step-guides/users/find-users) the user to disable.
2. Open the actions menu<img src="https://3360127832-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-legacy-files/o/assets%2F-Liw6C9Fe7rohFtkU25j%2F-LzM1EfGIhaGPGyVQjFz%2F-LzMELRl-5Stcu-0bd9Y%2Fmore_vert-24px.svg?alt=media&#x26;token=3eaf6254-0b73-42fa-835d-698886155254" alt="" data-size="line">and click **Disable User**. This will prevent the user account from logging in.
3. The user can be found again by [filtering on inactive users](https://docs.dataloy.com/release-5.22/voyage-management-system/step-by-step-guides/users/find-users/find-inactive-users) in the list.
