# Creating an Estimation

#### Creating a voyage estimation from Positions

You can start a new voyage estimation two ways:

1. Drag and drop a vessel card onto a cargo card (or the reverse).
2. Select one vessel and one cargo and click the **+** icon on either card.

Either action opens a new voyage modal with the vessel and cargo details pre-filled.
