# Knowledge Base

Welcome to the main source of information on the Dataloy product suite.

{% hint style="success" %}
**🚀 You're viewing the Release 8.29 preview**

This version of the Knowledge Base reflects functionality planned for the upcoming 8.29 release, which is not yet generally available. As you browse, you'll come across pages updated to describe:

* **Smarter comments** — Comments have been enhanced with tagging, filtering, and contextual navigation, making it easier to find discussions and understand where they originated.
* **Redesigned attachments panel** — The Attachments panel has been redesigned to improve document management.
* **Refreshed mobile navigation** — persistent bottom nav bar, plus a comments/attachments toggle inside drawers.
* **Live Emission Allowance pricing** — Voyage estimates can now automatically use live Emission Allowance market prices when calculating emission costs.

**Integrators:** only the Live Emission Allowance pricing change is API-facing. Everything else above is UI-only.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.dataloy.com/release-8.29-coming-soon/master.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
