# Alert Generator

* Alert scripts purpose.

Alert Scripts allow for complex logical conditions for when notifications should be sent. This requires technical expertise and knowledge of the Dataloy data model. Alert Generator simplifies the creation of this through the use of AI, enabling creation from natural language.

You can create a Webhook Alert directly with the generated script by choosing "Script With Webhook".
