# Maintain Budgeted Voyages

### Overview

Budgeted voyages looks and acts as "regular" voyages, but they have the "isBudget" tag set to true. These are no longer templates, but are only created out of templates.

Note: there are no indicators to mark a budget (in comparison to templates).

The budgeted voyages will only show up in two places, to differentiate from regular voyages, which is described [here](/release-8.17/fleet-allocation-and-scheduling/getting-started/planning/budgets/budgeted-voyages/find-budgeted-voyages.md).

### Status Transitions

On a budget voyage, only these status transitions are allowed:

* Estimate -> Closed
* Closed -> Estimate
