# Disable Users

1. [Find](https://docs.dataloy.com/release-8.16/voyage-management-system/step-by-step-guides/setup/users/find-users) the user to disable.
2. Open the actions menu<img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/uZ9lzqgHX4JL1Df67xog/blobs/obQ1hR9q3eWewg63mdkz/more_vert-24px.svg" alt="" data-size="line">and click **Disable User**. This will prevent the user account from logging in.
3. The user can be found again by filtering on Disabled users in the list.
