# Add Main Engine Speed

To add a Main Engine Speed to a vessel, navigate to the [Speed and Consumption](https://docs.dataloy.com/release-6.7/voyage-management-system/step-by-step-guides/vessels/vessel-speed-and-consumption-data) section of the Vessel drawer.
