# Maintain Cargoes

Once you have [located](https://docs.dataloy.com/release-5.28/voyage-management-system/step-by-step-guides/cargoes/find-cargoes) and opened a cargo booking from the cargo list, you can edit the details of this booking directly in the drawer.

Laycan dates are automatically checked and indicated in red if either date is not filled in. The validation is separate for laydays and target laydays fields.
