# Allocate Cargo

1. Click a cargo in the Cargoes module list.
2. When the drawer opens, open the action menu<img src="/files/-LzMELRl-5Stcu-0bd9Y" alt="" data-size="line">in the top right.
3. Click the **Allocate Cargo** button to open a dialog for allocation.

To allocate the cargo select a vessel and a matching voyage.

There can only be one matching port call for a given cargo port, you will otherwise be notified with an error message saying if there are several matching port calls found or no match. If that is the case please update the schedule and try again.&#x20;

#### Available voyages prerequisites

Only voyages with status Unallocated, Allocated, Nominated and Operational.\

Note: It is currently not possible to allocate to budget or scenario voyages
